Based on a preliminary survey, the WEC Organizing Committee has decided to offer a virtual abbreviated meeting via Zoom. The meeting will consist of the McGiff Memorial Award Lecture, along with poster presentations.
We invite you to submit a poster and PowerPoint slides (see attached templates). This can be your previously submitted work (amended if you wish) or a new poster. As the meeting is via zoom and time is limited, the presentations will be 5 minutes long followed by 2 min Q/A. During the presentation, the session chair will be taking questions via the chat function. Posters and slides are due midnight on September 15, 2020. Further instructions will be provided as we wish to finalize all aspects of the meeting no later than September 30th.
There will be $500 poster awards to the best presenters as judged by the award committee!!
Registration will be required but will be free; information will be provided at a later date.
The next in-person WEC is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2021.
